We are seeking an experienced and proactive Recruiter/Administrator to join our team at Origin Environmental, a growing division that currently encompasses six companies: Keystone, Neo, Avian, Bowland, GE, and Brooks. The Recruiter/Administrator will play a key role in supporting these companies’ diverse recruitment needs by directly sourcing candidates, managing recruitment processes, and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment : Manage end-to-end recruitment for various roles across Origin Environmental’s businesses, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Direct Sourcing : Actively source candidates through channels such as LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and networking to identify and attract top talent for each company.
  • Stakeholder Partnership and Relationship Building: Build strong, collaborative relationships with hiring managers across all six companies within Origin Environmental. Act as a trusted advisor, understanding their unique talent needs and providing guidance on recruitment strategies to attract the best candidates. Provide insights on market trends, sourcing strategies, and best practices to support hiring objectives.
  • Prioritisation and Planning: Efficiently prioritise recruitment activities based on business needs and role urgency. Maintain a clear, organized system to manage multiple open roles simultaneously, ensuring high-priority positions receive the necessary focus and attention.
  • Administration and Coordination : Handle all administrative tasks related to recruitment and HR, including:
  • Posting and updating job adverts on LinkedIn and other platforms.
  • Conducting proactive searches for potential candidates.
  • Coordinating interviews and managing scheduling for candidates and hiring teams.
  • Producing offer letters and processing offers efficiently.
  • Assisting with any ad hoc HR administrative tasks.
  • Agency Relations : Negotiate and manage relationships with external recruitment agencies, ensuring terms align with company requirements and budget.
  • Onboarding and HR Systems : Oversee the onboarding process by:
  • Adding new hires to the HR system, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Registering new starters on company benefits platforms.
  • Updating the company intranet with new employee information and resources.
  • Process Improvement : Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes and practices to enhance efficiency, candidate experience, and quality of hire.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience : Demonstrable experience in a recruitment-focused role, with experience in direct sourcing, recruitment administration, and full-cycle recruitment.
  • Communication : Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with candidates and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Organisation Skills : Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Negotiation Skills : Ability to negotiate effectively with recruitment agencies and other external partners.
  • Technical Skills : Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools, as well as experience using HR or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) for data management and process tracking.
