A hugely successful Global Infrastructure Consultancy actively needs an experienced Project Managers to support the UK Programme Delivery Director on major critical highways infrastructure projects in the South, East of the UK or Midlands, managing and co-ordinating throughout the entire lifecycle of large, complex, high value projects.

All roles are home based, with travel to site, project offices where necessary.

This role would suit a Senior Project Manager / Commercial Manager with a good background in Highway related projects to support the Developer Led Infrastructure team where you will provide focussed delivery on major schemes in the surrounding areas. The successful candidate must have experience of Highways, Civil Engineering and be very competent with using the NEC form of contract. It is intended that the role will offer the opportunity to progress your career as your experience grows within the role.

Role accountabilities:

* Develop implementation strategies for delivery of strategic infrastructure projects

* Work within project and financial objectives to produce plans, schedules and track budgets

* Management of statutory consents

* Analyse and review a range of data to identify key themes and trends and use the outputs to produce recommendations that support project decision-making

* Identify and present any project risks or issues to ensure the project is not adversely impacted

* Use knowledge and experience to review project processes and policies, providing advice to support management

* Provide subject matter advice in order to support delivery and ensure there is alignment between policy and operational practice

* Collaborate with stakeholders and third party contractors, in order to ensure all parties are informed and aware of project progress and expectations

* Set up and delivery best practice systems and controls.

* Lead the service delivery, and maintain and strengthen the client relationship

* Represent the company in a professional and diligent manner, meeting, negotiating and corresponding with clients

* Work collaboratively with the client and become the focal point for communication.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Proven Project Management background aligned to large mixed-use developments

* Degree educated in a related discipline

* APM, MRICS or ICE Qualified

* High level of knowledge and proven experience of working with NEC form of contract

* Knowledge of fundamental PM systems and procedures in the construction industry

* In depth knowledge of different construction processes
