We have expert teams dedicated to supplying fine wines, including a unique portfolio of Exclusive Agencies, to private buyers and investors, corporate buyers and to many of the most prestigious restaurants and hotels in the UK
as well as a wide network of independent merchants and retailers.
This is an ideal role for someone starting out in the wine industry with previous marketing experience or someone transitioning from another department/discipline with wine industry experience.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The key responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
Email marketing – campaign creation and fulfillment:
- Create email offers and campaigns targeted by customer segment, in line with yearly Marketing Plan strategy
- Monitor opening rates and report back to team
Design Work:
- Responsible for updating the Digital Price Lists
- Produce artwork for events, offers and publications
Social Media:
- Execute Social Media strategy across Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin and Facebook
- Document and analyse all social stats as appropriate
Website:
- Keep the website up to date using WordPress, including all imagery and content pages
Events:
- Support on all Bancroft tastings including portfolio, snapshot and private client events
- Coordinate samples for regional body and press events
Database Management
- Manage Shared Library of images and technical information
- Manage contact databases in Vintner and in Mailchimp
Co-ordinate and support other marketing activities to include but not be limited to:
- Assist Head of Marketing with production of key marketing materials: Offers, Brochures, Producer Presentations and Tenders, in adherence to Brand Guidelines
- Co-ordination/collation of all press mentions and awards
Support customer and supplier queries/requests
KEY SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:
Essential skills for success in this role:
- Minimum 1 year experience in marketing preferably within the wine industry OR 1 year experience in the wine industry in a different department/discipline
- Familiarity with WordPress, In Design, Mailchimp, Hootsuite and Canva (or similar programs) and working knowledge of Microsoft Suite
- Effective communication skills (internally and externally) and across all social media platforms
- Thorough attention to detail
- Self-starter with solid team working ethic
- Genuine interest and passion for working with wine
