Job Title: Sample Coordinator (Brand Support)
Role Purpose:
To oversee the handling, distribution, and monitoring of product samples, ensuring samples are managed efficiently and accurately to support sales, marketing, and product development. This is a content creative role focused on product samples and brand artwork.

- Key manufacturing partners

Main Responsibilities:
- Sample reporting for Branch Management and Area Sales Managers.
- Communicate accurate and timely updates to stakeholders and customers, respond to any enquiries.
- Carry out sampling reports, measure sample levels and organise reprints (quality checking these upon receipt).
- Organise sampling for products, including retrieval of the materials, images, product information, compile a design, and send for production.
- Create product bulletins, specification sheets, and warranties for new product launches in line with brand guidelines.
- Promote customers' products - different branded products.
- Manage sampling expenses, working to the agreed budget.
- Create customer-branded and own-brand artwork for new and existing product launches in line with brand guidelines.
- Obtain sampling quotes.
- Respond to customer sample requests, both internally and externally.
- Maintain Dropbox account with sample images and product photographs.
- Prepare samples for promotion - liaise with manufacturers who build the samples and dress them up.
- This role may include other duties as reasonably required.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Thoroughness and accuracy in handling samples, documentation, and inventory management to prevent errors and ensure compliance.
- Understanding of customer needs and behaviours to ensure samples meet and exceed requirements and expectations.
- Commercial and competitor awareness, ideally in the flooring industry (desirable).
- Cross-cultural awareness with adaptive communication, for liaising with a wide range of individuals from a variety of backgrounds.
- Previous experience in sample management, inventory control, or logistics preferred.
- Familiarity with inventory management software systems and Microsoft Office suite.
Skills & Capabilities:
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workload, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal teams, external partners, and customers.
- Proficient in recognising issues related to sample management and developing practical solutions.
