This is an excellent opportunity for someone enthusiastic and highly skilled clinically who wishes to enhance their operational and managerial experience within Level 2 Neuro and General Rehabilitation bedded units based at Willesden Centre for Health and Care.


The opportunity has arisen for a 1 year secondment into the position of Clinical Therapy Lead until 30th April 2025.

The management and clinical leadership of Bedded Neuro and General Rehab Services. The post holder will support the Head of Clinical Services and Modern Matron in delivering on and monitoring standards, ensuring the delivery of high quality rehabilitation. The post holder will be pro-active in creating an environment of continuous quality improvement and professional development, ensuring that patient goals and treatment plans are regularly reviewed and that service developments are implemented when necessary.
The post-holder will be jointly responsible with the Modern Matron for training and developing Clinical Support Workers by organising a programme that ensures competencies are gained.
Responsibilities will also include contributing to the delivery of the Local Quality Requirements, Key Performance Indicators and all key strategic activities and developments. This will be supported by high quality communications with all groups of staff, especially the senior therapists who will report directly and be managed by the Clinical Therapy Lead


Educated to master's degree or equivalent combination of post graduate diploma, short courses and experience
Management Training
Extensive post-registration clinical experience at minimum of Band 7 or equivalent
Extensive experience of assessing and providing care to people with complex and long term conditions
Experience in team management including performance management
Ability to communicate highly complex information both verbally and in writing
IT literate in the use of Microsoft Word, email and a basic understanding of Excel spreadsheets, data recording tools
Highly effective clinical skills in own professional area and relevant to the assessment and treatment of adults with complex rehabilitation conditions.
Theoretical and practical understanding of Change Management, Motivation & Morale and other branches of managerial practice
High level of work organisation, self-motivation, drive for performance improvement and flexibility in approach and attitude.
Knowledge of current policy and political drivers impacting on Adult service delivery and the ability to interpret health/social policies/guidelines
Awareness of diversity, equality and confidentiality issues
