Talent is partnered with a client seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to lead the delivery of complex technical solutions within the secure Defence and Government sectors. This role involves managing and delivering large-scale programmes, ensuring the successful design, integration and handover of technical solutions while overseeing multiple technologies, including infrastructure, network architecture and virtualisation.

  • Take ownership of solution design and delivery, ensuring technical alignment with project goals, timelines and commercial constraints.
  • Collaborate closely with PM's and diverse stakeholders, translating complex technical requirements into strategic project milestones while addressing technical dependencies and pinch points.
  • Provide technical leadership large teams of architects and engineers.
  • Support project bids, define technical solutions for large programmes and ensure the smooth transition from design phase through to operational handover.
  • Maintain clear and concise communication with multiple stakeholders, including vendors, ensuring all technical risks are identified, managed, and mitigated.

Your experience:

  • Proven track record in project delivery across multiple technologies, including network, infrastructure and virtualisation.
  • Ability to navigate the complex interplay of technical, commercial, and operational challenges, ensuring successful programme delivery.
  • Experience in coordinating large, cross-functional teams and leading them to successful technical outcomes.
  • Strong communication, ability to manage relationships across senior stakeholders and ensuring alignment between project goals and technical execution.
  • Prior experience in secure or defence environments is advantageous
