Global Macro Proprietary trading role
A growing mid-sized Asian securities firm is hiring a Global Macro Proprietary trader/PM to join their new team. The successful applicant will have an impressive history trading Global Macro on a proprietary basis, PNL track record and sharpe ratio.
Attractive compensation package for performance.
Responsibilities include:
- Trading futures across key global benchmark equity indices, long and short dated interest rate futures and main FX crosses on a proprietary basis.
- Interpreting financial/market news and determining market sentiment via research, valuation, and data analysis.
- To share all relevant information with colleagues within the front office of the Company to maximise business flows within the compliance limits.
- Will report directly to the Head of Global Trading and Investment.
Requirements include:
- We are seeking an experienced financial professional at Director level.
- Must have a profitable track record - performance history is a must.
- Ideal candidate will have worked in a fund or family office.
- Ideally an absolute return and long/short strategy focus.
- Good understanding and knowledge of European economy and markets and working experience in the field.
- A team player
- Role will be based in London.
- Role will be SM&CR as a certification employee under client dealing function.
- Educated to degree level.
