This role is perfect for a Business Development Manager with experience of identifying and securing new business opportunities and producing high-quality proposals and sales documents.
The role will be a permanent contract at 35 hours per week.
The role will work on a hybrid basis with dedicated time required each week in our York city centre office as well as opportunity for remote working too. All of the projects this role will touch will be social purpose projects so this represents a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in people's lives every day.
Brightsparks is a full-service creative agency specialising in behaviour change for social good. That’s why we exclusively work with social purpose organisations to help us achieve their goals.
Brightsparks works extensively in the areas of marketing, campaigns, creative and consultancy projects with organisations like NHS trusts, local authorities and national and international charities and NGO's.
Identify and secure new leads and clients for Brightsparks through targeted outreach and networking.
Design and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive growth and align efforts with business goals.
Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to market services and deliver quality proposals that meet client needs.
Ensure proposals meet client requirements, and conduct post-proposal analysis to drive improvements.
Provide leadership, management, and accountability (LMA) to staff and contractors.
Maintain and develop business development tools, systems, and processes (e.g., CRM, bid tracker).
3 years business development experience which must include sales and marketing experience.
~ Experience developing and maintaining business development systems and processes.
~ Experience project managing end to end business development projects, including research and lead generation stages through to contracting.
~ Experience working collaboratively with colleagues across a range of disciplines to gather the information required to develop quality marketing and sales collateral and client proposals.
