Join Our Team as an Electronics Technician in Spalding (Lincolnshire)
Established in the late 1970s, our client has grown into one of the UK's premier suppliers of innovative and leading-edge electronic security equipment. With an enviable order-book and impressive collaborations, they are now looking to expand their team with a suitably experienced Electronics Technician. Both part-time and full-time positions are available.
As an Electronics Technician, you will:
Perform practical, hands-on repair and component replacement for electronic equipment, including working at board level.
Disassemble equipment, carry out repairs, and reassemble equipment for field deployment.
Handle mechanical tasks alongside electronic ones, using a range of hand tools (soldering, screwdrivers, wire-strippers, etc.), associated equipment, and software.
Record activities and use various software to ensure all necessary work is completed, checked, and cleared for release.Practical experience in disassembling, repairing, and assembling electronic equipment.
Ability to work at board level, removing and replacing components (soldering).
Experience using software and systems to diagnose and repair issues.
A competitive hourly rate based on your experience (£16 to £18 per hour - (FT equivalent to £31.Pro-rata paid holiday allowance.
Contributory pension.
Option of part-time or full-time work.
To be considered, you must already be within a reasonable and sustainable commute of Spalding (Lincolnshire) without the need to relocate.
