Location: Glasgow/Hybrid. You'll split your time between working from home and our Glasgow office, located just 5 minutes walk from Queen Street and Central Station.

Join the dynamic in-house marketing team at XL Event Lab as our new Senior Digital Marketing Executive. We are on the lookout for a creative individual with a flair for content, social and email. If you have an in-depth understanding of various digital platforms, and a knack for creating engaging and shareable content, you might be the creative mind we're seeking.

We create large-scale, unforgettable experiences that aim to temporarily disconnect people from their devices, get them outside and active, and ultimately bring friends, families and communities closer together. Content

Spearhead the coordination and creation of top-notch copy, video, and image assets for diverse digital channels, including social media, email, website, and ticketing platforms.
Identify and engage graphic designers, art directors, photographers, videographers, and creative agencies as needed to meet the content plan requirements.
Craft clear and concise creative briefs for third party creative teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality assets.
Establish and maintain an easily accessible library of marketing assets for teams across the company.

Devise and build email campaigns & marketing automation workflows that capture, convince, and ultimately convert leads into loyal customers.


Collaborate with the Head Of Digital and company directors to refine our social media strategy, focusing on enhancing growth and engagement.
Strategise, create, and schedule compelling multimedia content across various social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.

Research and grow our network of marketing partners that we can activate to reach audiences beyond our paid media campaigns.
Collaborate with influencers, media partners, and venue marketers, ensuring they have the necessary assets for impactful campaigns.

Generate regular reports that communicate content performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Stay informed about innovative marketing strategies and content utilised by similar brands.
Keep abreast of new platform developments/features and emerging channels, making recommendations for testing as part of our content strategy.

Solid knowledge of social media platforms, especially Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, with a proven 2-3 years of experience in growing a brand.
Experience with Hubspot, Klaviyo, Mailchimp or similar email & marketing automation platforms.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality content.
Strong project management and people skills.
Results-oriented, with a natural drive to continually improve performance and streamline working processes.

Relevant qualification in marketing, PR, advertising, communications, or social media.
Experience with graphic design and video editing software such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite or similar
Some experience with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads Manager, or other digital advertising platforms. 
Comfortable using Microsoft Excel.
