About the Sous Chef role
Joining a team who embrace the passion of coffee culture. The role is to deliver exceptional food for the brand.
Duties will include:

  • Ensure dishes are beautifully crafted, to specification and always upholding our high standards.
  • Embracing your knowledge, love and passion for food will be obvious in everything that you do.
  • Ultimately focus on overseeing the ongoing training and development of your kitchen team
  • Ensuring sustainable progression plans are in place to promote growth from within.
  • Responsible for supporting your Head Chef in promoting the brand culture within your store.
  • Fast paced but casual environment, so ensuring a strong focus on the quality of coffee, fresh food, cocktails, and always providing the best service.
  • Adhering to food safety and hygiene policies
  • Running and maintenance of kitchen


HOURS: Full-time or Part-time (45 - 35 hours per week) - only 2 late evenings a week and ideally available on Sunday afternoons for a weekly stocktake.
SALARY: Up to £32,000


What will you bring to the Sous chef role?

  • At least 1 year's experience as a Chef or similar
  • Level 2 or 3 Food Safety & Hygiene certificates or similar
  • Passionate, hardworking, and friendly
  • Flexibility
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Excellent communications skills - both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage time effectively.
  • Good people skills
  • Be able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
