Miles Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a repeat client to recruit a Data Analyst to join their growing business. This is an excellent opportunity to get on board with this company and they have an impressive track record to date. As their new Data Analyst, you will be exposed to a number of divisions across the group and will work closely with various departments to identify trends, develop insights, and provide actionable recommendations by means of dashboards, reports and commentary. The role itself is already established and has been integrated into the business over the last 3 years, so strong foundations and processes are in place ready for you to take the reins and make your mark. You will;

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify specific business challenges and data requirements
  • Develop and manage information to support business decision making
  • Manage and improve existing reporting systems
  • Generate reports from a single or multiple system and perform complex data analysis
  • Develop, implement, and maintain databases on an ongoing basis
  • Prepare reports for internal and external customers using business analytics reporting tools and create data dashboards, graphs and visualisations
Experience of databases, Power BI, MS Access, working knowledge of SQL and advanced Excel skills will stand you head and shoulders above the rest. Additional qualities required to thrive in this Data Analyst position include:
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
A salary in the region of £30,000 to £33,000 p/a plus company benefits is offered and the role does come with the opportunity for some hybrid working.
