Role Overview

As a Fullstack Developer at Gizmo, you’ll work directly with the Founders and help shape the core product experience for our expanding user base. Although you’ll be comfortable working across the entire stack, your primary focus will be crafting high-quality frontend experiences that feel intuitive, joyful, and impactful.

You’ll collaborate with our engineering team to design, build, test and launch new features. This is a fast-moving, highly collaborative environment, offering plenty of room to contribute meaningfully and grow alongside the company.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain and take ownership of user-facing features, ensuring strong performance, accessibility, and delightful interactions across both web and mobile.
Work closely with designers and product teams to turn Figma designs and product specs into polished, reliable code.
Contribute across the stack as required — while frontend is the core focus, you’ll also support back-end services and APIs when needed.
Take responsibility for features end-to-end: technical design, implementation, launch, iteration and ongoing improvements.
Participate in planning sessions, code reviews and team rituals, helping maintain a high engineering bar.

Requirements

Solid fullstack engineering experience with a strong emphasis on frontend development, with an eye for UX, accessibility and performance.
Proficiency with React, TypeScript and Tailwind.
Ideally (but not essential), experience with Python, PostgreSQL and working with APIs or back-end logic.
Motivated by impact — you focus on work that drives meaningful results.
A self-starter with a builder mentality; we value ex-founders or those who have worked in startup environments.
Quick to learn and eager to take on new challenges; driven to create something significant.
Open to feedback, collaborative, and always aiming to improve.
Comfortable working hard in pursuit of building something exceptional.
