The Role

A brand new role for a Senior Finance Analyst to join the Finance Business Partnering team.

In this role, you'll support the relevant Business Partners in simplifying and standardising reports and forecasting models. You'll play an important role in driving efficiencies and improvements to the quality of reporting and forecasting across the team.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Drive standardisation across all areas in Business Partnering.
  • Build robust and scalable financial models to support reporting and budgeting processes, ensuring they comply with best practices and minimum risk standards.
  • Simplify or redesign existing processes to enhance the quality and speed of output.
  • Collaborate with business partners and the wider Finance team to gain deep knowledge of current processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide clear analysis and understanding of implemented changes, ensuring transparency and effectiveness.
  • Support the development of a business case for retooling, facilitate workshops to document the current landscape, and produce high-level requirements.
  • Assist with various activities across the wider Business Partnering team as needed.
  • Work with the Head of Transformation for Finance Business Partnering to drive improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of reporting and forecasting.

What We’re Looking For

  • We're looking for a Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant, with a strong understanding of finance environments.
  • The role is heavily focussed on modelling, so proficiency in MS Excel is crucial. You will need to have a proven track record in analysis, modelling, and reporting, with experience in driving change and efficiencies.
  • You'll have strong collaboration skills with the ability to adapt communication style based on the situation and context, as well as being able to independently influence teams and obtain stakeholder buy-in.
