Events Executive

As the Events Executive you will be part of the Grant ThorntonFinancial Services Group Marketing Team. You will work closely with the Financial Services Group Senior Marketing Manager and key stakeholders to support the growth ambitions of Financial Services Group.

A look into the role

As an Events Executive within the Financial Services Group Marketing team, you will:

  • work closely with the Financial Services Group Senior Marketing Manager and key stakeholders to build an events programme.
  • be responsible for the planning and delivery of the Financial Services Group internal and external events. This will include managing all stages of event lifecycles, such as initial analysis and research, negotiating with vendors, project management, AV and production, communications, logistics, post-event follow up and metrics.
  • you will be required to travel to various off-site locations meaning a willingness and flexibility around travel will be crucial.
  • you will play a lead role in the implementation of the lead generation events programme.
  • organise and deliver effective, high-quality events that contribute to achievement of acquisition targets.
  • analyse event ROI and provides clear, detailed and comprehensive event reports.

Joining us as an Events Executive, the minimum criteria is you’ll need to have a relevant degree with proven background in delivering a broad portfolio of successful internal and external events within the professional services sector.

It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way.

  • Proven background in delivering a broad portfolio of successful internal and external events within the professional services sector.
  • Energetic, self-motivated team player.
  • Excellent IT, organisational and communication skills and be both accurate and thorough.
  • Be comfortable and confident dealing with senior members of the firm.
  • Be able to travel to various locations meaning a willingness and flexibility around travel.
