Indirect Procurement categories tend to be complex with varying stakeholder needs, significant external spend and key relationships up to and including executive level. The prime accountability for this role is to drive value through ensuring the commercial elements of spend in these categories are executed brilliantly with our vendors.

This role will lead sourcing decisions with key stakeholders that is enabled through a business partnering approach with the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and the IT Leadership Team. This role will apply & oversee category management to support the maximisation of value, whilst minimising risk from all external spend and assuring quality of delivery and performance.


Challenge the ways of working with a focus on the ‘game-changers’ leveraging scale & skill
Co-create 3-year strategic plan with clear deliverables for the global procurement categories of IT, Telecoms & Network
Deliver savings targets that are procurement led, support SOF initiatives across the category portfolio
Support the delivery and assignments of all procurement “enabled” Shaping-our-Future (SOF) initiatives across the portfolio including direct reports and wider procurement teams as necessary
Play an active role in the IT annual budget process
Maintain and review the records of procured IT products and services
Monitoring and control unrolling contracts
Develop the Strategic Vendor Management Function to enable greater value, compliance, and identify & reduce risk
Be a trusted advisor to the regional procurement teams as required

Strong IT Category or commodity management experience as Procurement Director on a Global level
Senior stakeholder management (including C suite)
Cost & financial management
Supplier management
English is a must have – fluency in Spanish is an advantage
