Our client is a leading energy solutions and infrastructure provider who is seeking to recruit a high-calibre leader to manage their business development function, including sales, bids and marketing. Their customer base comprises rail infrastructure, airports, ports, utility companies, major manufacturers and renewable energy developers amongst others.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and owning a growth strategy for the business and will be a key part of the leadership team.

Lead all Sales, Business Development, and Bids. Working with the leadership team, the position will contribute to the strategic planning of a company, aligning with overarching Group and Company Services' objectives.
Develop and execute a Business Development strategy that supports the delivery of the company’s overall strategy and growth goals for a £150m+ turnover business that is part of a larger group.
Drive business growth through the company's strategy and identify opportunities for the company services to deploy capital effectively, aiming for a long-term return on investment in managing assets.
Collaborate with the company’s business development team to convert new prospects into sales opportunities.
Generate and refine value propositions that guarantee high-quality proposals.
Track record in business development in any infrastructure sector.
An accomplished leader with experience managing through change and achieving high performance from the staff.
Commercial acumen.
Well-established network within markets.
The ability to identify risks and trends across the industry.
