With a base in 5 European countries and a growing presence in mainland Europe we are looking for Transport Planner with European experience to play a major role in our Freight Services?team.

Whether it's regular Full Truck Loads (FTLs) from A to B, imports and exports, or express vans delivering to multiple locations, we have the experience, equipment and network to support our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the daily plan is completed in real time, managing resources effectively and maximising utilisation.

  • Understand and be able to achieve key performance targets.

  • Create collection plans to inform suppliers of loading requirements.

  • Liaise with carriers/sub-contractors across Europe to ensure customers' loads are delivered on time

You

  • Have 2 years' experience of transport planning and a good understanding of European transport lanes.

  • Previous experience in working within the logistics sector and must be experienced in providing transport quotes and negotiating costs with carriers.

  • Be proactive – anticipating when and where problems may occur

  • Have a high level of attention to detail

  • Be IT literate and able to work across multiple systems

  • French speaking would be an advantage
