We are recruiting a Head of Finance Operations for a grower insurance business. We are looking for an experienced hands - Finance Operations professional with excellent knowledge of operations of the Finance Team as well as working alongside other departments such as Broking / Technical / Claims. Qualifications, skills, and all relevant experience needed for this role can be found in the full description below. The role includes both operational and managerial duties. Your main responsibility will be managing all finance operation activities and identify areas of improvement, supervision and leading a Team of 5+ and ensuring deadlines are met and requests are prioritised correctly. The role offers high exposure to Senior Leadership across the Company and the Group. You will be reporting to the Finance Director. Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Payments received by Clients / Paid to Underwriters are matched by the Team on a timely basis and discrepancies are investigated with other Departments / Offices.
  • Ensure Direct Clients / Underwriters Statements are sent on a monthly basis.
  • Look at all processes with a critical approach to identify potential improvements.
  • Be able to prioritise requests received at the same time (Brokers’ requests, NOCs, Requests from other Departments / Offices).
  • Assist Finance Director in the Budget Process.
  • Producing regular MI on the ageing of unallocated cash, funding, payable credits, aged debt, brokerage and other key KPI's required
