Job: Mobile Fire & Security Technician
Randstad C&P are working with a leading facilities management company, to on board a Fire and Security Engineer. As part of this mobile role, you will be responsible for conducting work within commercial sites in the West Yorkshire area. The position is full-time and permanent, with core working hours scheduled from Monday to Friday, totalling 42.As the designated technical specialist for assigned sites, your main responsibility is to provide first-call response and technical expertise for various systems, including Fire, CCTV, EAS, Access Control, PA, and Automatic Pedestrian Gates.
Perform maintenance and repairs in line with customer-defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), covering response, repair, first fix, and closure tasks.
# Ensure that all planned, reactive, and statutory works related to CCTV engineering are carried out in compliance with contractual obligations.
# Respond promptly to service call requests from the Help desk during regular hours and while on call. Demonstrated experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire detection, alarm systems, and security equipment. Knowledge of various fire and security system manufacturers and models is advantageous.
Possession of relevant certifications such as FIA (Fire Industry Association), BAFE (British Approvals for Fire Equipment), or NSI (National Security Inspectorate) certification is highly desirable.
A relevant engineering or technical qualification in fire and security systems or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience working with retail buildings or commercial properties is beneficial, with a track record of providing high-quality service and maintaining excellent client relationships.
Take part in on call rota, 1 in 4.
