We are seeking a dynamic Commercial Officer with extensive experience in tendering processes within the public sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing end-to-end procurements, particularly utilising the CCS Framework. Additionally, experience in professional services and familiarity with NEC4 contracts is highly desirable.

Key accountabilities:

  • Lead end-to-end procurements, predominantly utilising the CCS Framework, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
  • Drive innovation in procurement processes while maintaining adherence to commercial policies and strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain the commercial pipeline, identifying opportunities for strategic growth and efficiency.
  • Provide support to the leadership team in implementing a new Category Strategy, contributing insights and expertise to ensure successful integration.

Key requirements:

  • Experience of the commercial cycle including pre-competitive supplier engagement, supplier selection, tender evaluation, contract award and ongoing contract management
  • A strong understanding of CCS Frameworks
  • NEC4 contract experience (desirable)
