As a Battery Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development of battery packs tailored for electric vehicle applications. You will be responsible for the seamless electrical integration of the battery management system and the development of accompanying software to meet the specific configuration and application requirements. This role will involve working across the entire project lifecycle, from initial design to post-delivery support. Responsibilities:

  • Electrical integration of battery management system
  • Design and development of battery management software and development of functions to meet application requirements.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements
  • Conducting function and performance tests, including regulatory validation
  • Developing processes and equipment for battery pack build and commissioning
  • Providing post-delivery support and investigating faults
Required Skills:
  • Degree in an engineering discipline
  • Proficiency in electrical schematic design
  • Knowledge of battery management system functions for automotive applications
  • Familiarity with UN ECE Regulation No. 100
  • Understanding of battery thermal management systems
  • Experience with battery pack test equipment
  • Ability to analyze battery system data for performance validation
Desirable Skills:
  • Proficiency in CAN analysis tools such as Vector CANalyzer, Kvaser CANKing, and Peak-Systems PCAN-View
  • Experience with functional safety management (e.g., ISO 26262)
  • Familiarity with Git source-control management
  • Strong technical documentation skills
