Alexander Lloyd are delighted to be partnering on an exclusive basis with a well-known organisation, on the recruitment of an Employee Relations Manager.
The ER Manager will report into the Head of Employee Relations and will manage the Trade Unions / Industrial Relations side of the business, including pay negotiations. No line management responsibilities and no ER casework attachment.
Duties:
- Industrial Relations / Trade Unions experience, particularly within an Employee Relations function
- Proven experience within an employee relations role
- Good understanding of employment law
- Strong communication, influencing and listening skills. Ability to coach, advise and influence colleagues.
- Ability to assess risks, exercise sound judgement and make fair and appropriate decisions
Skills/Qualifications:
- Previous ER experience is essential, preferably in a Unionised environment
- Industrial Relations experience
- Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent communication skills.
- Strong influencing skills.
- Strong decision making and analytical skills.
- Part or fully qualified Professional CIPD qualification, or working towards it
This is a Hybrid role, split between 2/3 days in the office (Croydon) and 2/3 days at home.
