Business Analyst

We're seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a leading professional services company with offices globally. The successful candidate will join a growing project services team dedicated to driving innovation and excellence. As they continue to expand and evolve, they're seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Analyst to join the team and contribute to the success by delivering impactful IT and business change projects.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst with a proven track record in delivering projects across IT and business change. The successful candidate will play a key role in bridging the gap between our business objectives and technological capabilities, ensuring that our projects align with strategic goals and deliver value to the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Lead the analysis and design of business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Work closely with IT and project management teams to ensure successful project delivery, from initiation to completion.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including business cases, requirements specifications, process flows, and user stories.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Conduct impact analysis for proposed changes, assessing risks and benefits to inform decision-making.
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, meeting quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
  • Provide ongoing support and expertise throughout the project lifecycle, including post-implementation review and benefits realisation.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on delivering IT and business change projects.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and project management methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in using business analysis tools and techniques, such as SWOT analysis, process mapping, and requirements gathering.
  • Experience with project management software and tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
  • Knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, with the ability to translate technical language into business terms.
  • Familiarity with change management principles and practices.
