IT Infrastructure Manager Salary: up to £75,000 + Bonus + Benefits Location: 3 days onsite in Croydon but they would prefer if you were fully onsite Working Hours: 40 hour working week Contract: Permanent A client is looking to hire an IT Infrastructure Manager who will own the planning, designing, implementation, operation and support of a large company's technology infrastructure. Responsibilities for the IT Infrastructure Manager :
Travel to 2 other UK sites twice a year and India once or twice a year - the business will pay for this
Defining, agreeing with the Head of IT and then owning an infrastructure strategy which is aligned with the wider IT and business strategies
Owning and validating the roadmap for infrastructure services, ensuring all solutions provide the required level of availability, performance and security
Overseeing the delivery of the infrastructure initiatives plan, ensuring all infrastructure projects are delivered within the pre-agreed parameters of time, cost, scope, risk, quality and benefits
Essential Skills for the IT Infrastructure Manager:
Microsoft licensing
Leading enterprise scale infrastructure transformation, including planning, designing and building solutions that are aligned to strategic objectives
Other technical experience - networking, cloud, server etc
Cyber security awareness
Desirable Skills for the IT Infrastructure Manager :
Linux
