Responsibilities: Work closely with the executive chef to oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of culinary excellence are consistently maintained. Lead and mentor the kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery. Contribute to the creation and development of innovative dishes showcasing British seasonal produce, while adhering to the restaurant's signature style and standards. Manage inventory, ordering, and food costing to optimize profitability and minimize waste. Uphold rigorous health, safety, and sanitation standards in accordance with Michelin guidelines. Requirements: Minimum of 1 year's experience as a Sous Chef in a Michelin-starred environment, with a proven track record of excellence. Strong leadership abilities and a passion for mentoring and developing culinary talent. Extensive knowledge of British seasonal produce and a commitment to showcasing its diversity and quality in dishes. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
