Job Title: Sales Estimator
Location: Leeds, with regular travel across the UK

Reports To: Sales & Estimating Team Manager

Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Estimator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be based in Leeds and will be responsible for visiting customers across the UK. This role is perfect for a specification sales executive skilled in building collaborative relationships throughout the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond swiftly and accurately to customer inquiries for our products and value-added services, sometimes compiling budget prices from limited information. Manage Key Accounts, maintaining regular contact through calls, visits, and site meetings as needed. Focus on sales, estimating, and technical support for both new and existing customers, aiming to develop long-term business partnerships. Use proactive sales methods to grow and maintain the customer base, engaging with Main Contractors, end users, and specifiers. Collaborate closely with the Design Team to address any potential threats and ensure successful project completions. Take proactive responsibility for securing tendered projects and ensuring smooth transition of successful orders to the Contracts Team for manufacturing. Person Specification:
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both verbal and written. Strong organizational skills with the ability to forward plan and self-organize. Good mathematical skills and a keen eye for detail. Ability to work well within a team, cooperating with the immediate team, design team, and project managers. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email. Experience working as part of a high-performing team. Determined and dynamic approach to work. Desirable Experience and Skills:
Experience in the steel or construction industry. Ability to read and understand technical drawings. Experience in compiling technical tenders. About You: You are a self-starter with a customer-focused mindset, capable of forming relationships at all levels throughout the supply chain. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are driven to achieve results.
