Prospero Teaching are working with a Good Ofsted rated SEN School based in Ringwood, Hampshire seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants for September 2024

The specialist setting caters for children and young people (aged 6 to 19 years) with extensive SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).

Your role will include providing support for pupils, teachers, and the school, working within small-class sizes or with pupils on a 1:1 basis offering a therapeutic approach rich in vocational opportunities.

Contract Details:
· Location - Ringwood, Hampshire
· Position - SEN Teaching Assistant
· Contract or position start date - ASAP/September 2024
· Contract type: Temp/Perm
· Full time/part time - Full time
· Minimum rate of pay - From GBP85.10 - GBP 98.20
· Hours - Monday - Friday 8:30am - 16.00pm

Experience, Training and Qualifications:
· Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent (preferable)
· GCSES: English & Maths
· Minimum 1 year working with children
· Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (or willingness to complete)

Eligibility:
· Hold Right to Work in the UK
· Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
· Provide two professional child related references

· Free, accredited continued professional development courses including safeguarding and behaviour management
