Customer Platform Technical Lead - c£75,000 Plus attractive company bonus - 3 days a week onsite in Bristol

As the Customer Platform Technical Lead, you will be the driving force behind the development, implementation, and optimisation of their Customer platform. Business Partnering is key with a focus on Salesforce CRM, Marketing Cloud, and Field Service. Your goal is to ensure the platform aligns seamlessly with its objectives, is efficient, and is equipped with the latest features to support our customers. This is a chance for you to build out the new team and be the leader of major projects within Salesforce across the entirety of the business

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include:

  • Providing hands-on expertise in Salesforce and other systems within the Customer platform.
  • Collaborating with business owners to create a strategic vision aligned with organisational goals.
  • Monitoring and communicating Platform metrics, refining usage in collaboration with business owners.
  • Driving process improvement and automation, designing efficient workflows leveraging Platform capabilities.
  • Managing vendor relationships, ensuring optimal value from contractual terms and service agreements.
  • Implementing governance policies for Platform usage and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Your Leadership Role:

  • Overseeing the technical design, development, deployment, and maintenance of the customer platform.
  • Proposing initiatives for new features and driving user adoption strategies.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to bridge the communication gap between technical and business teams.
  • Continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and aligning team members with the platform strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Significant Salesforce experience in development, team leadership, recruiting, and platform maintenance.
  • Certifications associated with Salesforce
  • Proven track record of successful delivery of large programs of work across multiple Salesforce clouds.
  • Deep knowledge of the Salesforce platform, both technically and functionally.
  • Experience in vendor and third-party supplier management.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing teams and technology projects.
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies and hands-on experience in Salesforce application setup and administration.
