Our Client is a Tier 1 Main Contractor to the highways and transportation sectors delivering safe, sustainable, and efficient transport solutions.

Our clients are excited to announce that we have been awarded a significant project valued at £50 million, which involves the construction of a 3.This project encompasses the construction of three roundabouts, two overbridges, and two new junctions. As part of our clients team expansion for this venture, we are currently seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join them on an 18-month Fixed Term Contract.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer for this project, you will hold a crucial position in upholding impeccable standards of quality and compliance across every stage of construction. Working closely with project stakeholders, including managers, engineers, and subcontractors, you will be responsible for implementing rigorous quality control measures, conducting thorough inspections, and rectifying any deviations from project requirements. Your dedicated efforts will be instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of this essential infrastructure project, ultimately bolstering safety and reliability within the community.

Meticulous attention to detail is crucial for identifying potential quality issues and ensuring compliance with project specifications.

* Effective communication skills are vital for collaborating with various stakeholders and clearly conveying quality requirements.

* Problem-Solving Abilities: The ability to analyse complex issues and develop practical solutions is essential for addressing quality-related challenges during construction.

* Quality Control Expertise: Experience in implementing and managing quality control processes in construction projects, including inspections, testing, and documentation.

* Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and codes pertaining to construction quality assurance.

* Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with quality assurance tools, software, and documentation systems used in construction projects.

Prior experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within the construction industry is highly desirable.

* Understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods, particularly related to road and infrastructure projects.

* Quality Management Systems: Familiarity with quality management systems and their application in construction projects.

* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

* Certifications: Relevant certifications in quality assurance or quality management within the construction industry are advantageous
