The Role Reporting into the Purchasing Manager, this role is a key support function within the purchasing team in the service/maintenance section to ultimately make sure that their logistics customers receive excellent service in repair of the equipment. Day to day you will be sourcing parts as required for reactive and planned repairs, liaising with multiple internal departments including the stores for stock inventory and ensuring the engineers have the parts they need all across the UK. This is open to being an entry level admin based role through to someone with some experience in Purchasing - either way they can provide CIPS/IOSCM training to boost your career within Procurement. Qualifications and Skills Be a graduate in any discipline or have manufacturing/engineering/warehousing/call centre environment experience Interest within engineering/manufacturing with a desire to pursue a career in purchasing Must have generally good IT/Excel skills - be able to pick things up quickly Excellent communicator and have confidence to make calls Excellent interpersonal skills, organisation and very strong attention to detail Great upbeat personality, natural people person What you will get in return You will receive a generous entry level base salary alongside 25 days holidays, pension scheme and various other benefits.
