What your role is

Reporting to the Customer Category Manager Online & Convinience in the UK, this role will drive best in class visibility of General Mills brands on the digital shelf of retailers' websites. The successful candidate will partner with the Marketing and Sales teams to optimize Brand Search, Content, Availability and Product Ratings & Reviews across the full portfolio of GMI Brands and customers. This role will also be responsible for executing the Paid Search campaigns on targeted retailers' websites, as well as leading the collaboration with our Digital Shelf analytics provider in the UK.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Optimize the findability of General Mills products through Search (organic and paid), activating all the levers to improve product ranking on retailers' websites across the full brand portfolio
  • Optimize the product detail page content and lead the relationship with brand content syndication providers, such as Brandbank
  • Lead the Product Ratings & Reviews generation program for all new products, based on the available budget and priority list of SKUs
  • Support the Account Managers in improving product availability online and in reducing the level of out of stock on the Digital Shelf
  • Lead the relationship with Data Impact, the Digital Shelf analytics provider, running quarterly performance reviews and maintenance of the inputs required to ensure accurate reporting
  • Champion General Mills' Digital Shelf framework internally, providing training where required
  • Manage the annual brand paid search budget, aligned with the Marketing teams, to build and execute a brand and retailer level PPC strategy on retailers' websites
  • Manage 3rd party Retail Media PPC platforms and relationships, such as Citrus and Criteo
  • Run the day-to-day PPC budget, leading internal reviews and ROI analysis to optimise retail media investment

What you will bring to the team

Skills & Qualifications

  • FMCG e-Commerce experience
  • Experience in fixing online brand basics, ideally on Retailers' websites in the UK
  • Experience in, or willing to learn, managing self-serve media platforms Citrus and Criteo
  • Comfortable with analysing data and drawing insights out of it
  • Budget management experience, capability to manage budgets across multiple brands and retailers
  • Strong collaboration skills; ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams (esp. Sales/Marketing)
  • Business oriented and results driven; ability to grow online sales and market share
  • Good communication skills, with high attention to detail
