Full-Time support worker required in Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire. We are looking for enthusiastic care and support workers to join a small team supporting a gentleman with an acquired brain injury, physical disability and some cognitive difficulties to live an independent and active life.
The positions available are working across shifts that include days, nights and weekends. Shift patterns are a mixture of long and short days worked between 9am and 8pm, or sleep-in shifts through the night. You may also be required to help with providing cover during periods of annual leave and sickness among the team.
Duties include supporting the client with personal care, as well as identifying and accessing a range of leisure activities in and around the local community, and implementing interventions recommended by a range of therapy professionals involved with the client’s care. You will be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of the client while promoting his independence and social skills.
However, experience is not essential, as full training will be given.
Candidates will need to have flexibility in their approach, a commitment to social inclusion and an enhanced DBS clearance. A full driving licence is essential. Job Type: Full-time
Rate of Pay: Weekdays £12.14 per hour Weekends £13.80 per hour
Shifts will be a mixture of long and short days worked between 9am and 8pm, or sleep-ins at night
Support workers will be expected to attend meetings and supervision as required outside of their usual working hours.
No experience required, as full training will be given

Full training will be provided in order for the successful applicant to achieve their Care Certificate and NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care
