We are looking for a lead software developer to provideleadership in the development and running of a new software servicesarm of our client. You will be responsible for designing, developing,testing, and deploying software applications using the latesttechnologies and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
develop,test, and deploy software applications using various technologies andframeworks.
that the software meets the functional andnon-functional requirements and follows the best practices of softwareengineering.
with other teams and stakeholders to deliversoftware solutions that meet internal or client's needs andexpectations.
the software architecture and design.
and evaluate new technologies and tools to improve thesoftware development process and quality and be able to mentor othersin their use.
a team of software developers and provide themwith technical guidance and feedback.
with incumbent IT teamto develop the necessary infrastructure to deploy the developedsoftware solutions.
Requirements
least 5 years ofexperience in software development using various programming languagesand frameworks.
least 2 years of experience in leading andmanaging software development teams.
communication skills andbe able to articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
problem-solving skills and the ability to develop pragmaticsolutions operating within given constraints.
knowledge ofsoftware engineering principles, design patterns, data structures, andalgorithms.
understanding of the Software Development LifeCycle.
of security risks in software development and how tomitigate them by applying industry best practice.
in at leasttwo programming languages, one of which should be Python andexperience of a web-frameworks such as Django, Express, Angular,React, or Vue.
of databases and handling analytical datasets.
developing web (front and back-end) applications (somedesktop experience may be useful).
working with MicrosoftAzure based infrastructure, other cloud-based technologies.
to work independently and as part of a team.
