Balfor are looking for a Vibrant and Strong Registered Manager to take responsibility for the day to day running of a Children s home in Selly Oak. Our ideal Registered Manager would have previous experience and knowledge of managing a service for children aged 8 to 17 years old with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties.
As the Registered Manager of this new children s home your role would entail:
Registering with OFSTED and ensuring the home follow and adhere to the policies and regulations.
Recruiting and training the team of staff that will be working at the home.
Delivering childcare that is focuses on getting the best outcomes for each young person within the home.
You will have to demonstrate practical leadership in childcare, as well as organise and support staff.
Recent experience working either as a Children's Home Registered Manager or as a Children's Home Deputy Manager in a Children's Home.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management of Residential Childcare.
Proven track record working with children in a residential setting.
A good understanding of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding and working with other health care professionals.
Must have received at least a Good OFSTED inspection rating within the last 2 years.
Full driving license with access to a vehicle.
Enhanced DBS.
