The Role: The school are seeking a passionate and dedicated SENCO to join their Senior Leadership Team (SLT). As SENCO, you will play a pivotal role in cultivating an inclusive learning environment across the school. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing a whole-school graduated response to support students with particular learning needs.
  • Leading and training staff in best practices to ensure all pupils receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Collaborating with the SLT to shape and drive the school's inclusive education policies and practices.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of SEN provision and making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes for students.
Requirements:
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • NASENCO qualification (National Award for SEN Coordination) is essential.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within an educational setting.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to promoting and achieving an inclusive and supportive school culture.
