Responsibilities:

The role of a Director is to inspire and lead teams, manage financial performance of teams, be responsible for service quality, identify recruitment needs, perform the role of Project Director for complex large projects that involve multiple Directorates and deliver against all Directorate level KPIs and objectives, reporting directly to the Senior Leadership Group and Board as required. Actively developing strategic thoughts into the MD Vision & Strategy for the Directorate, ensuring the Directorate Business Plan is the best it can be supporting the Ardent Group Vision.

Essential experience required:
  1. DCO delivery experience in land services
  2. Experience of providing/managing land services on a Solar DCO
  3. Experience of providing/managing land services on an offshore wind DCO
  4. Line management experience
  5. Commercial acumen to Direct a project and drive margin
Desirable experience:
  1. MRICS
  2. Experience of negotiating HoTs and Option Agreements
  3. Experience of the GVD process and implementation of powers
  4. Experience of writing and advising on land strategies for DCO process
  5. Experience of being land expert at DCO examination hearings
  6. Experience of DCO examination processes
  7. Experience of being through the construction phase on a linear cable route/pipeline project
