Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them overcome barriers to learning? If you are someone who thrives in a school environment and has a natural ability to guide students through challenges, GSL Education London Branch wants you to join a dynamic school as a Behaviour Mentor in Haringey.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a key role in helping students manage their emotions and behaviour to succeed both academically and personally. Working closely with teachers and pastoral staff, you will offer guidance, promote positive behaviour, and ensure that students feel supported in their journey towards growth and achievement.

Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with behavioural needs.
Help manage challenging behaviour, implementing effective strategies to promote positive behaviour.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to create a positive, nurturing environment.
Support classroom management and encourage positive behaviour throughout the school day.
Prior experience working in an SEN setting is preferable.
Strong communication skills and the ability to manage challenging behaviours effectively.
Patience, empathy, and resilience in supporting students with complex needs.
A sound understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.

Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
