Multi-Asset Solutions (MAS) is a multi-asset class investing group that sits within the Asset Management Division at Goldman Sachs. It designs and develops comprehensive investment management solutions customized to meet the investment objectives and relevant constraints of clients. These solutions bring together state-of-the-art techniques for multi-asset portfolio design and implementation and reflect proprietary research and analytics conducted by the MAS team. With investment professionals across the globe, MAS invests or advises on assets for some of the world’s leading corporations, sovereign wealth funds, pension plans, governments, financial institutions, endowments, foundations, and family offices.
We are seeking a member to join our Multi Asset Solutions (MAS) Lead Portfolio Management (LPM) team. As a member of the Lead Portfolio Management Team within MAS Fiduciary Management channel,  the person will have the responsibility for designing and constructing portfolios for large institutions particularly pension schemes .  This role is client-facing and highly analytical, focusing on developing and communicating customized investment solutions and asset market views to clients.
Portfolio design, construction and oversight of client portfolios involving areas such as strategic asset allocation, investment manager / vehicle selection and oversight, risk / performance management and evaluation
Develop client relationships by understanding client investment needs and proposing appropriate portfolio solutions
Communicate and develop materials for clients and prospects including investment-related analysis, client and prospect presentations and developing responses for client Request for Proposals (RFP)
Work with distribution channels, senior portfolio managers and internal team to drive business opportunities
Conduct and be involved in client training sessions to discuss portfolio construction, approach to asset allocation, markets and economy
2-4 years of investment or portfolio management experience, with a preference for cross-asset experience
~ FIA or CFA charter holder preferred, or someone pursuing either
~ Strong interest in the financial markets and a good investment sense/commercial instinct
~ Intelligent, creative, and good problem-solving abilities
