Estimator The Company A high-tech manufacturing company specialising in the welding and fabricaton of stainless-steel assemblies and gas and fluid handling systems The Role My client is looking for an estimator to join their team and to expand their estimating and quoting activities. The work will include the following: Discussing clients’ requirements alongside the Sales team Interpreting clients’ drawings and specifications Creating a Bill of Materials To compile costings and detailed proposals To handover project to purchasing and production on successful delivery of proposal Working with the production team to determine a manufacturing process and production times. The Candidate To apply for this role, you must
- Have experience or an active interest as an estimator within the manufacturing industry.
- Technically and commercially aware, and able to understand and interpret drawings and other information.
- Able to compile and/or assist with detailed quotations.
- Able to manage their own workload, and that of their department, and achieve set deadlines.
- Accurate and numerate with great attention to detail.
