Sales Engineer for TMS
As the designer, manufacturer and supplier of one of the first and original TPMS (tyre pressure monitoring system) in the world, dedicated to Off-the-Road and Industrial vehicles, we are excited to offer an opportunity for an International Sales Engineer to join our team and head-up sales. As International Sales Engineer at Tire Monitor System (TMS®) you will be responsible for promoting and selling the company’s products to industrial customers in the UK and overseas. The role requires a strong understanding of technical products and their applications and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and prospects from around the world.
You will lead Sales, working with existing customers and resellers, and also building new contacts in new sectors and new territories. You’ll report directly to the MD and organise your time effectively to get the best results. Communicating clearly face-to-face or through Video calls to give presentations and demonstrations in both the UK and overseas. With customers and resellers from North & South America to Europe & Asia and Australasia you will need to be organised and focused. As you will be Hybrid working on the road, from home and the office, the ideal base location would be Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield, Derby, Nottingham, Stoke, Stafford – 1 to 2 hours from the TMS® office.

Requirements
Education to HND level in a technical discipline
Previous experience selling some form of technical product/service
Excellent communication skills
Organisational skills to manage multiple opportunities and prioritise effectively
PC literacy and Microsoft Office proficiency
Responsibilities
Develop sales strategy with MD
Introduce TMS® to new sales leads
Find suitable overseas partners in designated territories
Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our products
Follow up sales opportunities and quotations and feedback won/loss/abandoned details
Provide technical and application advise to customers
Rewards
Full time position
Basic salary between £28-32k. Commission related to sales growth, expected OTE £50k
