Large Housing Association requires a Learning Specialist to provide a proactive, efficient, and effective learning and development service, which is customer focused, meets business needs and delivers value for money.

Purpose and responsibilities:

Supporting the development and delivery of an effective and value adding Talent and Learning service across the organisation.

Commission, design and develop, source, and provide access to learning resources and development programmes and contribute to other development interventions and strategies, managing suppliers appointed.

Ensure that all learning and development meets the needs of the organisation and its employees.

Ensure all mandatory and statutory requirements are prioritised and effectively met for the various businesses, working with the SME's and HR Business Partnering team to identify any changing or developing needs/risks. Proactively plan for upcoming law/requirement changes.

Provide coaching, advice, challenge, and quality checking/assurance to help with learning design and support on a variety of learning and development solutions, including internally delivered workshops, eLearning and other digital resources, and away days; challenge SMEs and managers to clarify designed learning outcomes and ensure that they are met taking into account agreed learning principles.

Support the delivery of wellbeing, equality, diversity and inclusion strategies and action plans through advice, guidance, quality assurance and challenge with the sourcing and delivery of any relevant learning activities or resources working closely with DEI Lead.

Manage the performance of external learning and qualification providers - monitoring performance, learning and content effectiveness through regular evaluations and observations; follow up and manage improvements where necessary. Report any risks.

Skills and experience:

Comprehensive experience of working in a training and development environment at Adviser level.

Experience commissioning and managing external learning and training partners.

Experience of sourcing, designing, and delivering L&D solutions; including mandatory care sector training, digital solutions, management and leadership development, qualifications and

Data analysis and report writing skills including recommending solutions.

Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office and complex databases; and the ability to quickly learn new software

Relative demonstratable L&D/HR experience

CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management, or Organisational Learning and Development, or equivalent #J-18808-Ljbffr
