Are you a software developer/engineer with a great grounding in Software Development Lifecycle principles?

Have you started to get into Dynamics 365 Development, but want more trust and more exposure to building completely new business processes? Do you want a real chance to stretch your wings and work on something genuinely innovative?

This Housing Association is hiring an Dynamics Developer to work on an industry-leading digital transformation project on Dynamics 365. The business is transitioning away from their legacy systems and is making wholesale changes to the way the business is run, so there’s a huge amount of development pipeline where you would be able to focus and build.

As Dynamics Developer, you will pick up work from Business Analysts and work with the Solutions Architect on solutions design, before working through technical specifications by configuring and customising on Dynamics. The business works with a broad range of Dynamics functions like Dynamics CE, F&O, Sales, and on the Power Platform, and is bringing in more functionality. The key aim is to drive the business operations using Dynamics 365.

This is therefore a great role with loads of exposure to software development, scope to expand your skillset, and a genuine opportunity to work on greenfield implementation projects to build something completely new. You will learn, develop, and grow as part of the business transformation.

Key Responsibilities as Dynamics Developer:

  • Develop, configure, and customise software solutions on a range of Dynamics modules while maintaining industry standards and best practices.
  • Work with the Solution Architect to ensure solutions are scalable, efficient, and meet the organisation's needs.
  • Build high-quality, structured solutions with a focus on customer engagement.
  • Support the move from legacy systems to Dynamics
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and handle errors to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and release managers.

Required Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with Dynamics Development.
  • Ability to build software solutions based on business requirements.
  • Experience working across the full development lifecycle from receiving the technical specification through the build and implementation.
  • Good grounding in Software Development Lifecycle principles

The salary on offer is £55,000 to with some great benefits. This role is hybrid with a day a week in the office and the opportunity to work from multiple offices across the East Midlands.

Interviews will be taking place in October, with the Software Development Manager looking to review applications as soon as possible.
