Approved Electrician (London-based) Meridian have a fantastic opportunity for aspiring London-based Electricians with Inspection and Testing looking for a permanent, cards-in position. You will be joining a company which has experienced rapid growth over the last 5-years, and they are once again looking to grow their team of engineers in London. If you’re looking for a permanent position in a growing company, this is the opportunity for you Benefits include (but are not exclusive to): Starting salary of c.£40k based on Mon – Fri, with additional regular overtime at 1.3x, 1.5x and 2x pay (leading to actual salaries of £45k+) Up to 60 hours of paid work available, including overtime, occasional night shifts and weekend work This contract will be London-based work, primarily in the Hackney area to begin with Tools and uniform provided by company Company Van –100% travel costs are covered by company fuel-card Regular bonuses, incentives, and rewards Statutory Maternity Pay, Paternity Leave, Adoptive Leave and Parental Leave Family-ran, relationship-driven Using the most up-to-date technology and tools to ensure high-quality PPM, remedial work and accurate Inspection & Testing Environmentally-focused vision Training will be provided where necessary to help you learn and enhance your skills as a competent Approved ElectricianRequirements for this job: Gold JIB Card, with Inspection and Testing qualifications (either on the JIB card or alongside it) Full, clean driving licence (There will be travel around London involved in this role) IPAF is NOT essential, but is a bonus Relevant experience in commercial install and Inspection & Testing, and preferably experience within Facilities ManagementThis company has secured long-term contracts with multi-million-pound retailers, eradicating the ‘man in the van’ approach whilst offering job security and regular, full-time commercial work.
