Are you a Conventional / Manual Turner who wants to work for a close knit team who actually value their employees rather than just be a number churning out product? Here you'll be a valued member of team who is looked after by a caring company with a low turnover of staff. Job Summary The Manual Turner reports directly to the Machine Shop Supervisor and is responsible for the production of components from drawings, using a range of conventional Lathes. Working with tolerances up to 0.02mm. You'll need to be fully conversant in both metric and imperial measurements. You'll work as part of a small team which sees a great variety of components pass through the Machine Shop, so good teamwork and machining capability is essential to achieve the best results in a growing business. Key Skills and Experience

  • Experience working from drawings producing parts using conventional lathes
  • Experience if fitting, milling, boring and grinding is advantageous but not essential
Shifts
  • Early Shift - Monday to Thursday - 06:00 – 14:00, Friday 06:00 – 13:30
  • Back Shift - Monday to Wednesday - 13:45 – 23:45, Thursday 13:45 – 22:45
