**Manual Turner**

Are you looking for a new role in a market leading engineering company?

Stride Recruitment are partnering with an established specialist engineering company, on the search for a **Manual Turner **based in Consett, England.
As a **Manual Turner **you are responsible for the production of components from drawings, utilising various sizes of manual lathes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To ensure safety and quality procedures are adhered to and assist in the improvement of processes.
- Timely production of parts to pre-determined deadlines.
- Produce work to the highest quality standard to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Work within British Standards as per company procedures.
- Support internal teams to get to the root cause of specific issues.
- To take part in specialist or multi-disciplinary team activities.
- To behave in a professional manner at all times when dealing with customers, suppliers and colleagues.

**What are we looking for?**
- Mechanical Engineering background
- Understanding and interpretation of engineering and drawing standards.
- Understanding of pumps and rotating equipment
- Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
- Proven ability to execute and deliver projects within specific time frames
- Ability to work within a team with initiative and minimum supervision
