Ofcom’s Economics and Analytics Group is a dynamic, international team of over 100 economists, data analysts and finance experts.

We are seeking a data scientist with experience in PowerBI to support us in building an internal data product. You will collaborate with a vibrant team of economists, data engineers, data analysts, policy professionals and market researchers. Developing a dashboard in PowerBI to visualise the results of data analysis and models.
Collaborating with data engineers and economists to support model development and deployment.
Producing high-quality documentation.
Building scheduled data pipelines to ingest data from various third-party APIs.

Strong proficiency in PowerBI, including data modelling, DAX, and visualisation best practices.
Strong proficiency with PySpark, Python
Experience with SQL and database management.
Proven experience in data manipulation, including designing and implementing ETL processes.
Proven experience of producing high quality documentation.
A degree in computer science, data science, or a related field, with a postgraduate qualification being desirable but not essential.
Experience with network analysis desirable, but not essential.
