Big Ant are working with one of our valued clients to support them in finding a dynamic, tenacious and commercial aware Sales Director to manage a cutting-edge facility offering world-class labs, offices, and a classified cleanroom, unparalleled technical capabilities for research, development, and product innovation across diverse sectors like Microelectronics, Photonics, MedTech, AgriTech, MarineTech, and Aerospace.
The Innovation Centre stands as the nucleus of Torbay's burgeoning hi-tech community, poised to revolutionise the region's economy. It serves as the hub for numerous technology-driven enterprises, dedicated to addressing critical environmental issues while supplying renowned global companies. This presents a thrilling opportunity for an individual to spearhead the expansion of a strategically vital sector, capable of reshaping Torbay's economic landscape.
While we ideally seek an experienced Innovation Centre Manager with a tech background, we recognise the potential for candidates with transferable skills. However, expertise and senior-level experience in Sales and Marketing are imperative for cultivating a robust pipeline of businesses poised to occupy The Centre.
Key skills and experience required for this role:-
* Maintaining extremely high levels of tenants and customer satisfaction
* Driving business collaboration that accelerates growth
* Experience in supporting business in a hi tech sector, able to identify their strategic needs and support their growth.
* Raise awareness of The Innovation Centres Cluster group
* High level of numeracy e.g. budget management, statistics and financial planning
* Negotiating leases with prospective and existing tenants
This role is based on site and is Monday- Friday.
