Midday Meal Supervisor

Job Opportunity: Midday Meal Supervisor (Part-time) £13/14 p/h Immediate Start Part Time SEN SchoolAre you looking for a rewarding part-time role in an SEN school? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Midday Meal Supervisor to join a well-established school in West London. This is a long-term position starting immediately, offering flexible hours between 10:15am to 1:15pm, Monday to Thursday. Responsibilities:

• Providing a safe and inclusive environment for students during their midday meal break
• Ensuring students are escorted and supervised in an orderly manner to and from the dining area
• Assisting students with their meals, including serving food and drinks
• Encouraging positive eating habits and promoting a healthy diet
• Monitoring students' behavior and resolving any conflicts or issues that may arise
• Assisting students with personal care tasks, such as feeding and toileting, as required
• Working closely with other staff members to create a cohesive and supportive team environment

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children or young adults, preferably in an SEN setting
• A patient and compassionate nature, with a genuine desire to support and nurture students
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution
• A basic understanding of safeguarding and health and safety procedures
