Enlighten Supply Pool is currently recruiting for a Secondary Learning Mentor. We have an exciting opportunity available for a confident, reliable, and passionate individual with a can-do attitude to support in boosting confidence and attainment of students. This Ofsted-rated Good school is looking for a long-term Learning Mentor to de-escalate students in crisis, manage challenging behaviors, and remove students from classrooms when necessary.

You must demonstrate flexibility working with varying age groups across KS3 - KS4. You will assist in delivering daily lessons and provide support on a 1:1 and small group basis with children across core and foundation lessons. The pupils have a range of needs, so understanding of SEMH, ADHD, and ASC is important.

In order to be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
  • At least 6 months of school-based experience in a primary setting
  • Two suitable references covering the last 2 years
  • Hold a current DBS registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
